Lot 59 is a significant 1.7ha site owned by Auckland Council and has been identified by Auckland Transport as the most appropriate location to form a required new public transport interchange based around buses with easy and adjacent connection to the recently opened Manukau city rail station. 

 

The vision for Lot 59 is a mid to high density city block containing a 16-bay sawtooth public transport interchange and characterised by a pedestrian oriented, legible layout, a high quality built environment and a comfortable, safe and memorable public realm.
