Could you imagine a space that could be transformed completely according to our needs, a place that could feel us and react to our presence? A space which also wouldn’t require energy supply and it would be like a living being, like a plant which takes the sun’s energy to
change.

Pixelspace allows any volume within the geometric constraints of the system. Endless combinations.

The whole space inside the building is divided into 40x40x300 cm “3dpixels”. Each pixel is powered by a hydraulic cylinder that moves because of the water pressure coming from a high tank.  Each pixel  can rise up to 3m high. The water inlet and outlet is controlled by valves controlled by computer. Any conceivable three-dimensional space can be configured by synchronizing the pixels. The energy consumption to move the system is 0.
The system allows more possibilities that we could suppose in the same way that a television can display more pictures that we could imagine.

Possible applications include auditoriums, exhibition halls, recreational interactive rooms, scenery for theaters, high technology cultural centers, etc. Also, as the system is computer controlled, you can play virtual spaces and, therefore, be used as support space for virtual reality.
